Linkx Systems has supplied a packaging line to a German manufacturer of freeze-dried coffee, meeting the brief for a machine that would reliably handle oval and other non-standard jars.
This innovative machine can achieve a continuous throughput capacity of 40 trays per minute – which is almost double that of conventional machines. A key feature that enables the machine to handle oval and other non-standard jars without jamming is the novel tabletop sweep system that is used in place of the more usual guides.
