Festo to show process products at IWEX 2007Festo will be showing an exciting range of automation and training services for the process sector, including its latest pneumatically-operated valve for the water industry, at IWEX 2007. The company will also be demonstrating its new CPX Web Monitor tool, a low-cost software package that provides designers, users and maintainers of automation and process management systems with exceptionally powerful monitoring and remote diagnostics. It is particularly cost-effective for installations that cover a wide physical area, making it an especially attractive proposition for the water and waste water industries.

CPX Web Monitor facilitates on-line retrieval of digital and analogue statistical data from any Ethernet-equipped Festo CPX series valve terminal or I/O module. Capable of handling static and dynamic data, it accommodates a wide variety of process-related functions, including individual pneumatic valve diagnostic and condition monitoring, pressure, temperature and I/O status monitoring, and power supply condition monitoring. The software can be installed on any standard PC-based web server, and users can retrieve data via any standard web browser.

At IWEX 2007, Festo will also be highlighting its latest training courses aimed at the process sector. The company trains over 42,000 personnel worldwide every year and is a leader not only in technology-based courses on pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs, but also in soft skills and personnel development, such as service engineer communication courses, employee engagement and team coaching.
