Industry LIVE-2007, featuring engineering LIVE and electronics LIVE, is well on the way to being a sell-out event, according to the organiser, Cubic Events. With radically reduced stand prices, industry LIVE-2007 is perceived as an attractive opportunity to gather new business enquiries at a good time of the year.
Opening on 26 and 27 September at Sandown Exhibition Centre, Esher, Surrey, industry LIVE-2007 will showcase first-, second- and third-tier engineering and electronics companies specialising in supplying to OEMs and end users. The event has been strategically timed to take advantage of the critical autumn period - when the majority of user-companies are preparing their plans for the following year, and when remaining funds must be spent.
Already key organisations such as the DTI Manufacturing Advisory Service and MoD Defence Suppliers' Service have committed their support to the event and its free-to-attend seminar programmes covering topics such as 'Six Sigma', 'How to sell to the MoD', and 'Lean Tools and Techniques'.
Engineering LIVE exhibitor, Adrian Haller, MD of Bruderer UK, says "An exhibition in the south of England focused on engineering, electronics and pharmaceuticals, priced competitively, being held in September, could not come at a better time for the metal forming industry".
And Peter Towler of Briton EMS states: "Briton EMS exhibits at selected events during the year and has chosen electronics LIVE to be our autumn showcase event. Its location and timing provide an excellent opportunity to display our services to new business contacts."
Show organiser Marilyn Driscoll reports: "We have been somewhat taken aback by the high levels of response and growing interest in this back-to-basics event. It seems there are many companies out there that have grown weary of existing exhibitions and welcome the arrival of industry LIVE. They are attracted by much reduced stand costs, a superb venue and a strong visitor promotion campaign - and we look forward to delivering it in September."
