The highly regarded Instrumentation Regional Industry Series, from Trident Exhibitions, hits the road again in 2007. Most recently, Instrumentation has been held in Reading in October 2005 and in Aberdeen in September 2006 as Instrumentation Scotland & Offshore Systems. Now, as announced at the recent Mtec exhibition at the NEC in February, the venue for the event in 2007 is again the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Reading, 3 and 4 October 2007.

This year's Instrumentation South will have the added bonus of a separate co-located event entitled Displays Technology South 2007. Running side-by-side, both shows will benefit from the increase in visitors that these events will attract for each other. Displays Technology South will feature exhibitors presenting the widest spectrum of displays technology systems and equipment. These include Craft Data, Pacer International, Review Displays Systems and Ginsbury Electronics.

The two-day events are strategically located in Reading, where many of the country's top companies choose to site their headquarters. Reading is conveniently close to London and has excellent communication links with every part of the country. Clusters of related industries in the surrounding areas include Southampton, Bristol, Oxford, Swindon and Luton, all of which are within a short travelling distance of Reading and featured heavily in the analysis of visitors who attended the last show.

Convenient for visitors

With working time at a premium, and a growing inclination towards more specialised regional exhibitions, Instrumentation South offers visitors an opportunity to see a wide range of companies and products all under one roof and on their doorstep. It is anticipated that Instrumentation South will attract over 60 exhibitors and offer those based in the Southern part of the UK the opportunity to network in an informal environment, within their own region.

Jill Wadge is the Instrumentation Regional Industry Series Show Manager and says: "We are always in discussions with our exhibitors from both our regional and national events. It has been clear that there is a growing need for regional instrumentation events in the South and we are delighted to be able to provide this opportunity for both exhibitors and visitors. This year's event will be even more popular with the addition of the co-located Displays Technology South, which will offer a more comprehensive event for our visitors."

A full programme of supporting workshops and seminars will be available for visitors to take advantage of, with full details to be announced at a later date.
