EdgeCAM is enhancing its support for customers in south-east Asia with the appointment of a new reseller in Thailand, joining those already established in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. With business opportunities steadily growing in this developing market, EdgeCAM is holding a Resellers Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, in June 2007, to include both conference and training sessions.
Andy Schaffner, EdgeCAM's country manager, states: "We are seeing a steady growth in the economy of south-east Asia. In order to maintain the highest levels of support to our expanding user base, we are actively looking to increase the size of our reseller channel in the region."
EdgeCAM software is described by the company as 'the only CAM system manufacturers will ever need' for milling, turning, mill/turn applications, advanced surface machining and solid modelling. EdgeCAM is said to simplify NC programming for all machining applications by providing powerful milling strategies for horizontal and vertical machining centres with integrated support for tombstone and rotary applications.
