Wyko, an Eriks Company, has opened another Central European branch in Litvinov in the Czech Republic. This follows the success of Wyko s.r.o. in Bratislava. Wyko s.r.o. is said to offer an unparalleled local stock of industrial consumable products from leading manufacturers, as well as the ability to draw immediately upon the Group's vast stocks located throughout Europe. This, coupled with the extensive all-round know-how of its engineers, has already led to Wyko s.r.o. generating keen interest within major companies in the region in key industrial sectors, including energy, mining and the oil and petrochemical industry.
Eriks, a Dutch Industrial Services Group, acquired Wyko in November 2006 and the new branch in the Czech Republic offers the first opportunity for customers to experience the combined strength of Wyko's Engineering Solutions and Eriks know-how in the supply of engineering products and services to improve productivity, thereby generating costs savings in their MRO expenditure.
Wyko s.r.o. is managed by Zdeněk Bubeniček and Jana Bubeničkova. Before joining the Wyko team, Zdeněk and Jana held the Fenner Power Transmission agency for the Czech Republic for more than 10 years and Zdeněk, in particular, already has extensive knowledge within the engineering sector as a result of fifteen years' experience gained as a sales engineer with a leading global pump manufacturer.
A major benefit of Wyko opening in Litvinov is that the Czech Republic's key heavy industrial region can now easily access leading global brands that are only available through Wyko. These exclusive brands include the full range of Fenner Power Transmission products, belts and pulleys, chain and sprockets, gearboxes and motors, couplings and shaft fixings, Wyko's own SRB brand of split roller bearings, and Eriks sealing products. Wyko s.r.o. also offers Pall's well-proven filtration, separation and purification equipment.
Zdeněk Bubeniček says: "Wyko s.r.o. offers a unique opportunity to Czech industry, having immediate direct access to Wyko's engineering solutions and Eriks know-how and to the major manufacturers of industrial consumables, thereby giving unrivalled product availability coupled with competitive pricing. Wyko s.r.o. is also well-placed to meet the stringent requirements placed on local suppliers by the increasing number of Western companies migrating to Central Europe, because no European group has greater European experience than Wyko and Eriks".
