The Workwear and Corporate Clothes Show has signed an agreement with Buffera Ltd, the company famous distributing and marketing Buff multifunctional, versatile, tubular headgear for the leisure and sports market. Buffera will be co-sponsoring the buyers' champagne cocktail party as well as launching its new range of personal protection equipment (PPE) headwear on stand number D52 at the inaugural show on 2 and 3 April 2008, at the Birmingham NEC.
Most famous for the Original Buff, a multi-functional piece of head- or neck-wear that alternately functions as a bandana, wristband, neckerchief, hair band, scarf, balaclava or cap made from a seamless polyester micro-fibre, Original Buff SA, the Spanish manufacturer, has 15 years of experience in textile innovation and technology. And now the company has developed a range exclusively with the workforce in mind.
This highly breathable new Buff Protection range uses proven performance fabrics such as Coolmax, Thermolite, Polartec and Windstopper for maximum efficiency and superb protection from cold, wind or UV rays. The fabric also wicks moisture away from the skin and protects from the wind or cold. The Buff Protection range also features two vertical strips of retroreflective 3M Scotchlite for improved visibility. Each item from Buff Protection is small enough to keep in a pocket, effective enough to protect, and comfortable to wear as a scarf, cap, facemask, balaclava, headband, wristband, beanie or bandana.
Buffera Ltd recently teamed up with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman on their latest epic motorbike adventure, Long Way Down, to produce a customised high-UV-protection Buff to help raise money for their charity partner Unicef, the United Nations Children's Fund.
Lorne Cheetham, joint managing director of Corporate Clothes Show, says: "Featuring over 100 exhibition stands, catwalk fashion shows and demonstrations, the Workwear and Corporate Clothes Show is set to attract key buyers from a myriad of different business sectors, workplaces, and industries – from hotel groups and healthcare to retail and railways. Buff is new to this market and our show will give them the perfect forum to launch their new PPE range to the world of personal protection equipment. Their sponsorship of the Buyers' Champagne Cocktail party on the evening of Wednesday the 2nd April will give them high brand awareness at the show. Other sponsorship opportunities exist to give brands and companies high visibility at this unique show, and any companies interested should contact us as soon as possible."
Among the recently confirmed exhibitors are Dickies (UK) Ltd - the company that provides a complete service for the corporate workwear and footwear markets - and Jermyn Street Design, which has been helping clients such as Body Shop, David Lloyd Leisure, Max Factor, Premier Travel Inn, Beefeater, Givenchy, Boots and the Stella Artois Tennis Championships to create quality garments that are good to look at, good to wear and good to work in. Also Pret Apparel Ltd, which specialises in designing a totally bespoke wardrobe and accessorising with a wide choice of stock-supported garments offering a huge variety for companies both large and small.
About the Workwear and Corporate Clothes Show
The Workwear and Corporate Clothes Show is being organised by Corporate Clothes Show LLP. This prestigious exhibition will be dedicated to senior buyers, specifiers and suppliers working in the vibrant and dynamic working garment industry and will take place at the Birmingham NEC on 2 and 3 April 2008.
Worth an estimated £450million, the UK's corporate clothing, workwear and PPE (personal protection equipment) industry makes around 32million garments each year. In spite of the industry's stature, there is no dedicated exhibition for buyers to source the latest developments in clothing and equipment. Working with the workwear and clothing industry's key bodies and influencers, The Workwear and Corporate Clothes Show is designed to be an image-conscious and comprehensive event for suppliers and buyers of workwear clothing.
