3D Systems reports successful World Conference 2007

3D Systems Corporation reports that 400 people from 18 countries attended its inaugural World Conference from 24-27 September 2007 in Rock Hill, SC, USA.

With more than 70 educational and networking sessions offered, more than 20 extensive hands-on training sessions, presentations by more than 60 industry leaders, almost 30 comprehensive partner exhibits on display and participation from every major global industry segment, attendees experienced the full range of possibilities and opportunities in 3D modelling, rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing.

The 3D Systems World Conference kicked off on 25 September with several dynamic keynote speeches. During the three-day conference, 3D Systems unveiled its revolutionary V-Flash desktop modeller and attendees saw this fast, compact and affordable machine in action as it built ready-to-use models within hours. The company also introduced new materials and software products to its current and prospective customers.

Attendees were able to tour 3D Systems' new global headquarters and research and development facility as well as the 3D Systems University, its premier training centre for 3D modelling, rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing that is operated by York Technical College.
