Master Chemical Europe (MCE) has appointed Craig Chatburn as its new Northern Area Sales Manager. Chatburn believes there is significant commercial potential for MCE in this region thanks to important product differentiators. Unlike the products of other oil companies he has represented previously, many Master Chemical fluids formulated for aerospace production have the corporate approval of several of the industry's big names.

He explains: "This opens up a big market for me in the North, with many OEMs and tier suppliers based in my patch. But it is not just a question of standards. With MCE I also have at my disposal recycling equipment and a wide range of wash fluids that give me a much more rounded set of products to help the customer optimise production."

A production engineer by training, Chatburn started in technical sales with Loctite in 1990 and moved into the world of production oils and lubricants in 1997. Having worked with some of the leading industry names, he brings some twenty years of experience in this industry to his new post at MCE. His most recent role was in the direct distribution of motorcycle oil, hard parts and tyres to major dealerships nationwide.

Based in Skipton, West Yorkshire, Chatburn is now responsible for the MCE sales territory that includes Scotland and is bordered in the south by Sheffield.
