Trident Exhibitions' biennial Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore Systems exhibition will return to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on 3rd and 4th September 2008.
Located in the heart of the Offshore industry in Aberdeen, the exhibition brings together many companies who supply products and services specific to the offshore industry in addition to others representing processing, power generation, paper, distilling, water and waste, and marine engineering in north east Scotland.
With the offshore sector employing many contract workers, time is certainly ‘money’ and Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore Systems offers both visitors and exhibitors an excellent way to network in an informal environment, within their own region. Face-to-face discussions and demonstrations allow both visitors and exhibitors the chance to understand each other’s requirements and act on them.
The exhibition will feature free workshops held by the GTMA, Foundation Fieldbus, JWF Processing and BFI Optilas amongst others. Full details of all workshops will be announced at a later date and will be available on the show website. This event is fully supported by the Institute of Measurement & Control, Instrumentation Magazine, GTMA, Foundation Fieldbus, Roustabout and Platform magazines.
Bookings for the 2008 event are going very well with more than 70% of stand space already sold. Exhibitors who have reserved stands include ABB Limited, Honeywell Control Systems, Emerson Process Management, Pepperl & Fuchs GB Ltd, Endress & Hauser Ltd and Johnson Controls.
Gail Downham is the Instrumentation Scotland Show Manager and says ‘We are always in discussion with our exhibitors and visitors from our regional events. It has been clear that there is an increasing need for regional instrumentation shows and we are pleased to be able to provide this opportunity to the offshore systems industry in Aberdeen’.
