European Trade & Exhibition Services (ETES) is organising the forthcoming North West Manufacturing & Electronics show at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton, on 11/12 June 2008. Now in its 11th year, the North West Manufacturing & Electronics show is described as the largest and most significant event of its kind in the region, and one not to be missed by anyone involved in manufacturing enterprise.

The North West boasts a vibrant manufacturing economy, particularly in the areas of precision engineering and fabrication. While the pattern of industry may have changed over the last generation, the North West still has a very proud legacy of manufacturing excellence that today finds expression in industries such as aerospace, automotive and specialist high-quality, low-volume work.

Today's business environment favours lean and specialised manufacturing enterprise. The ETES programme of regional events reflects that emphasis - making it easy and cost-effective for businesses to promote themselves and meet new suppliers in their local area. Phil Valentine, managing director of European Trade & Exhibition Services, says: "Industry has moved away from large-scale manufacturing to much more compact, but highly specialised spheres of activity. It makes perfect sense for the exhibition industry to mirror that change."

Visitors to the North West Manufacturing & Electronics show can expect to meet a broad selection of high-calibre suppliers offering hundreds of products and services, from tooling and machinery to thermal de-burring and precision finishing. The show is supported by the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT) and the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS).

Entry is free and there is free car parking for over 3000 cars. Access to the Reebok Stadium by public transport is also extremely easy; Horwich Park railway station is within 100m of the venue.

Full event information and registration for tickets and the free seminar programme can be found at www.industry.co.uk/NorthWest.
