COPA-DATA introduces new Partner Programme

The COPA-DATA Partner Community is a worldwide network of system integrators, machine builders, general contractors and education and research institutes that are pursuing the objective of achieving excellence in the world of automation together with COPA-DATA. The network, with already more than 50 partners worldwide, now welcomes its first Qualified Partners.

An open exchange of knowledge, skills and experience is the basis of any successful network. A continual exchange of knowledge requires active and direct communication and a common set of guidelines, which the new COPA-DATA Partner Community offers. The network therefore contributes significantly to successfully positioning the automation software zenon in the market and also contributes to improving customer relations on a long-term basis.

Local commitment in an international environment

Customers value quick and reliable on-site support. In the global competition for increased efficiency and production output, partners who provide local contacts play an important role. With the Partner Community, COPA-DATA is increasing the level of quality in the automation industry – by close cooperation and shared commitment with their partners as well as a focus on innovation and continuously expanding expertise.

Three levels of membership

The Partner Community offers three levels of membership, based on mutual commitment and the scope of performance: Registered Partner, Qualified Partner and Expert Partner. All new members start as a Registered Partner. As a partner develops expertise through training, and their know-how and market share increases, their business relationship with COPA-DATA matures commensurably. In this way, the next level of membership, with more opportunities and advantages, becomes accessible.

The diversity of the COPA-DATA products is reflected in the diversity of partners and the numerous benefits that the partners can take advantage of, depending on their level and their requirements. Lisette Fagerstedt, COPA-DATA Partner Program Manager, explains: “Whereas one partner company concentrates on sales activities and wants to gain new contacts, for example, another might mostly work together with us in the area of marketing. It is important that the partnership is based on both sides being prepared to work together and achieve greater things than they could achieve alone.”

Growing together - COPA-DATA welcomes its first Qualified Partners

Since the Partner Community was established, existing partnerships around the world have been transferred to the new network step by step. The programme is now fully developed and includes partners from all around the world. The community currently has more than 50 Registered Partners and recently gained its first four Qualified Partners. New registrations are added to this each week. Philipp Schmidt, who is in charge of liaising with partners at COPA-DATA GmbH in Germany, adds: “We are happy that the network of our partners has been accepted so well and that the synergies were recognised and exploited so early. We are particularly proud of four partner companies, who have already changed their status in the network from Registered Partner to Qualified Partner.” These companies are Benninger Zell GmbH (www.benningergroup.com), Heitec AG (www.heitec.de), MH Datentechnik e.K. (www.mh-datentechnik.de) and neogramm GmbH & Co KG (www.neogramm.de).
