Pilz Automation Technology is hosting a number of machine safety webinars for engineers and managers across the UK and beyond.
The webinars are dedicated to sharing the essential facts and updates on a range of key machine safety topics, including a range of industry standards, human–robot collaboration (cobots) and Industrie 4.0 to name just a few. Each webinar highlights a subject relevant to machine safety, compliance and operational needs.
Speaking when the seminars were launched earlier in 2017, Jamie Walton CMSE, Services Manager at Pilz, explains: "There is a constant need in industry to keep up to date on the issues surrounding machine safety; however, we understand that people do not always have the time for a full-day session out of the office. With our webinars, we hope to deliver the essentials in 'bite-sized' chunks, with the added opportunity to get instant support for specific questions."
Adding to Pilz' portfolio of popular machine safety seminars and training courses, the half-hour webinars all start at 09:30.
The next three webinars are:
- Understanding EN ISO 13849-1 – 22 September 2017
- Understanding EN ISO 13855 and safe distances – 20 October 2017
- Understanding EN ISO 14119 – 17 November 2017
