Workshops: Find out about the end of physical prototypesSiemens PLM is hosting a half-day workshop in Solihull on 7 May 2019 so machine builders can learn about the benefits of virtual commissioning (see below for additional dates).

During the development of a machine, many things can jeopardise having the machine production-ready on time. However, virtual commissioning makes it possible to conduct tests early in the design and development phase. What-if scenarios can be tested with no risks, the engineering error quota is reduced, and the security validated - all before the real machine even exists.

The total time required for commissioning the actual machine can be substantially reduced, thereby eliminating the need for physical prototypes and significantly reducing the time-to-market.

To find out more about this technology and the difference it can make to your business, join Siemens PLM at one of its monthly Virtual Commissioning workshops in Solihull.

You will learn:

  • How to go from concept to a functional, productive machine quickly and reliably
  • The impact of including simulated 3D models in a bid response
  • How you can produce higher quality machines at a lower cost - with fewer errors and less rework

Follow the link to find out more and register for the Virtual Commissioning workshop on 7 May.

In addition to the event on 7 May, Siemens PLM is hosting free half-day Virtual Commissioning workshops in Solihull on 5 June, 2 July, 6 August and 3 September. The company is also running a series of half-day Machinery Academies in Manchester, with forthcoming events on 16 May and 4 June.
