Following last month's editorial, in which I mentioned that there was a Guide to the New Machinery Directive in the pipeline, I am pleased to say that it is now available here. I'd like to say a big 'thank you' to the three companies that are sponsoring the guide, namely Pilz automation Technology, Procter Machine Guarding and Southco Europe.

Will you be going to the Machine Building exhibition at Birmingham NEC next month? MachineBuilding.net will have a stand at the show (Stand 1814) and we look forward to meeting you there.

Lastly, don't forget that our 2008 Media Guide is now available and you can download a copy here.
