MachineBuilding.net Newsletter Issue 39

Editor: Jonathan Severn
1st September 2010

Guidance documents are always popular with our readers, as proven with last month's item IEC/TR 62061-1 guidance: application of ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061 and July's Revised guidance on application of the Machinery Directive (the official publication from the European Commission). This month we have a shameless plug for the MachineBuilding.net guidance on the new Machinery Directive, as the fifth edition has now been published in the light of the latest official guidance and with additional new material relating to assemblies of machinery (or 'integrated manufacturing systems' in many cases).

This MachineBuilding.net booklet runs to 36 pages and is considerably easier to digest than the 400-page official guidance. Find out more or request a copy now.
