If you are involved with technical product documentation and specification, you will be interested to know that BSI has published a new edition of BS 8888, the British standard covering this area. This 214-page document effectively brings together more than 200 international standards, so although it is not cheap, it provides very economical access to a huge amount of information. And if you have a copy of its predecessor, BS 8888:2011, bear in mind that many of the international standards it references will have been updated or revised over the last nine years. Follow the link to find out more.

This month's newsletter has four items in the Events and Courses section, but take a close look because the two PPMA entries are each promoting two different training courses.

In other news, we have a wealth of cutting-edge products for machine builders and system integrators, plus new guidance for machine guarding and an application story relating to machinery safety.
