Jokab Safety is launching a new small and robust emergency stop switch. With its slimline housing and centreline mounting holes, the 'Smile' E-stop mounts easily on the extruded aluminium profiles that are commonly used today for machine frames and guarding.
Each unit is equipped with one or two M12 connectors that enable quick installation and easy replacement in the event of physical damage being sustained. The outputs provided are either two dual normally-closed contacts or a Jokab Tina interface that makes it possible to connect several E-stop devices in a dynamic safety circuit according to BS EN 954-1 safety category 4.
LED indication of the E-stop switch's status is also provided to give faster troubleshooting in the event of a stoppage: green indicates OK, red for stop.
