Test chambers achieve ultra-low temperaturesUnitemp is introducing a new range of affordable, compact, ultra-low-temperature chambers. This high-quality range of chambers from ESPEC consists of two models, the MC-711 and the MC-811. These have been designed primarily for reliability testing of electronic/electrical components and small avionic and automotive parts under very cold conditions.

These chambers are capable of providing temperatures as low as -85degC with instrumentation for programming temperature cycling or constant operation.

The MC-711 has a temperature range of -75 to 100degC, with a temperature uniformity of +/-1degC. Temperature heat-up time is approximately 20 minutes and pull-down time is approximately 60 minutes. The MC-811 has a temperature range of -85 to 180 degrees C, with a temperature uniformity of +/-2degC. Temperature heat-up time is approximately 30 minutes and pull-down time is approximately 70 minutes.

Controls are mounted on the right-hand top of the front of the chambers, with an easy-to-operate LCD display that features an interactive touchscreen. A viewing port is incorporated in the chamber's door.

Constructed inside and out from high-quality stainless steel with internal dimensions of 400 x 400 x 400mm (W x H x D), the chambers have a capacity of 64 litres, a weight of 155kg, and are fitted with castors to aid manoeuvring.

These new chambers complement Unitemp's already extensive range of test and monitoring chambers/ovens, plus the company has the expertise to provide 'specials' to customer requirements.
