Parvalux is extending its range of DC brushless motors to include a new, customisable 86mm model known as the PBL86.
The square-framed unit is available in three lengths (91, 118 and 145mm) offering continuous rated power outputs of 220, 346 and 440W at a nominal 3000rpm. Windings allow up to 4000rpm to be achieved with a 48V DC bus as standard, although a 24V version of the 91mm unit is also available. Continuous torque ratings range from 0.7-1.4Nm.
As with existing models, matched two-quadrant controllers are available to accompany each unit; and customers can select from a number of different motor flange mounting options.
Parvalux offers the PBL86 with a customisable range of Parvalux gearboxes including the new G and LS worm-wheel units. As ever, the motors and gearboxes come with built-in Parvalux reliability and a no-quibble two-year guarantee.
Customers can download the updated release of Parvalux’s 2008 DC brushless catalogue from the Parvalux website, which now includes information on the new PBL86. In addition, existing customers will note the improved layout and technical data section - which now includes a new 15-minute rating for motor/gearbox combinations. At the back of the catalogue there is also data concerning EMC Directive compliance as well as thermal and mechanical ratings for each gearbox.
