Non-contact eddy current sensors measure distance, displacement or the position of any electrically-conductive target. These objects may have both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic properties. Due to the high insensitivity to oil, dirt, dust, moisture and interference fields, as well as being totally wear-free, the eddy current principle is well suited to applications in harsh industrial environments.
Micro-Epsilon supplies eddy current sensors for industrial use in factory automation, machine monitoring, inspection, measurement and testing. Suitable for high-speed applications and measurement ranges of 0.5-16mm, Micro-Epsilon's eddy current sensors offer a very good price/performance ratio.
