High-temperature quad op amp handles 300 degrees CETLG Inertial Aerosystems is introducing the HT1104 high-temperature quad operational amplifier semiconductor. Manufactured by Honeywell using Silicon on Insulator (SOI) technology, it is designed for use in systems operating in severe high-temperature environments such as oil and gas drilling operations and aerospace propulsion systems.

All parts are subjected to a burn-in at 250degC, and they are hermetically sealed in a 14-lead ceramic DIP. They are also available in die format for large volumes.

This versatile amplifier provides guaranteed performance over the full 55-225degC temperature range for five years, but will operate with temperatures of up to 300degC for one year (guaranteed). With both split and single supplies it is suitable for high-temperature operations such as transducer interfacing, amplification, active filtering and signal buffering. Other applications include industrial process control, electric power conversation and heavy duty internal combustion engines.

Features include a common-mode input voltage range including negative rail, low input bias and offset parameters, ESD protection circuitry with latch up free design and dielectric isolation.

This innovative product is part of a family of components for use in hostile environments. A new shortform catalogue is now available showing the full range of 13 components.
