Precision inclinometers with analogue or digital outputs

ETLG Inertial Aerosystemsvisit website

ETLG Inertial Aerosystems is announcing a range of precision inclinometers in single, dual or triaxial configuration, with analogue or digital outputs.

Manufactured by US-based Jewell Instruments the 10 different models are based on a proven, force-balanced servo design. This results in low-noise, high-resolution measurements of specified angles between 1 degree and 90 degrees FSD. Outputs are +/-5V DC at full scale for the analogue units and via industry standard RS232/485 for the digital units. Compatible displays give clear, accurate read outs of angle.

The units are housed in nine different rugged enclosures complete with connectors and mounting holes. This gives additional resistance to shock up to 1500g and vibration to 20g. Some units can be directly mounted to train bogies. A special dual axis unit fits a 1 inch well-logging tool. Options available are thermal modelling, factory set zero offset, non-standard full-scale angle and custom filtering.

Applications include well logging, structural monitoring, steel processing & casting, radar/antenna control, train automated controls and rail grinding, and platform levelling.
