Tyco Electronics is introducing a circular 3.5mm A/V jack SMT (surface mount technology) with enhanced flexibility that can be tailored to specific customer requirements. It benefits from a flexible platform design featuring 3.5mm A/V jack versions with or without a collar (otherwise known as behind the shell), with rectangular or round collar, with or without switch, etc. Its flexibility allows for wide applicability in a large number of customer programs - not only in consumer/mobile devices, but also industrial and automotive industries.
