Advanced Air Services - 10 years as a Festo Premier Stockist
Advanced Air Services, which is specialist supplier of pneumatics automation and control systems, is celebrating its tenth anniversary as a Premier Stockist for Festo by hosting a special automation technology show at its facilities in Hull on Thursday 26 May 2011.
Andy Neesham, Managing Director of Advanced Air Services, states: "Our involvement with Festo spans three decades, during which time we have formed an excellent business relationship, as well as acquiring an enviable reputation with our customers throughout East Yorkshire for delivering cost-effective pneumatic control technology. Many of our food and beverage customers are becoming more interested in automation. We felt that an ideal way of celebrating our tenth anniversary as a Festo Premier Stockist was to ask the company to become directly involved by demonstrating the innovative cost- and time-saving products that it now manufactures for this market sector."
Festo has responded by arranging for the Festo Showcase Vehicle, which is packed full of technology and product demonstration kits, to visit Advanced Air Services' premises and for Festo consultants to be on site for the day. Customers will be able to gain a valuable working insight into a wide range of latest-generation pneumatic and electrical automation technology. A particular emphasis will be placed on demonstrating the latest pneumatic automation components that Festo has developed specifically for the food and beverage sectors. These include a new generation of cost-optimised Clean Design pneumatic cylinders for environments subject to frequent wash-downs. The latest electrical drives, motors and controllers will also be highlighted, with demonstrations of how Festo's new integrated automation platform facilitates the implementation of mixed-technology electrical/pneumatic automation systems.
