Ammeters indicate average RMS current

New from OEM Automatic are bimetallic and combined ammeters that are suitable for thermal monitoring of transformers, cables and other electrical devices that have a slow reaction to current changes.

Ammeters indicate average RMS current

These meters indicate the average RMS current value during the predefined measuring period using bimetallic needles that do not react to short current pulses. A red memory needle also marks the maximum current reached.

These meters can be combined with a standard ammeter fitted in the opposite corner to give an instantaneous load current reading.
