Bosch Rexroth joins the Manufacturing Technology Centre

Bosch Rexroth a manufacturer of drives and controls across a range of applications, including mobile applications, factory automation, machinery and renewable energies. Membership enables Bosch Rexroth to provide expertise and potential solutions for a number of the MTC's live projects and also network with a number of the Centre's existing members which include Rolls Royce, BAE Systems and Airbus.

Clive Hickman, Chief Executive of the Manufacturing Technology Centre, comments: "My own relationship with Bosch goes back nearly 40 years to when I was a trainee engineer and I am delighted that a company with such a strong reputation for quality and professionalism has become the latest to join the family of members who support our work.

"Our aim is to provide a competitive environment to bridge the gap between university-based research and the development of innovative manufacturing solutions, in line with the Government's manufacturing strategy. We look forward to Bosch Rexroth becoming involved in many of our live projects and forming a close working partnership with the company."
