Bruel and Kjaer UK is launching an online tool that enhances its service and repair booking process for customers. Accessed via Bruel and Kjaer's UK website, this new facility can be used by anyone with equipment for calibration or repair. The online tool has many flexible features, including no contract requirement, single or multiple booking choices, an agreed spending limit option and quotation request.
With an online booking, customers' equipment will also be collected, free of charge, on a day and time to suit them, from anywhere in the UK.
The interactive booking form and free equipment collection join a host of features Bruel and Kjaer has created to improve customer service. These include free minor repairs during the calibration process, the availability of loan instruments, and pre-calibration inspection to ensure the units are suitable to undergo testing.
William Egan, Bruel and Kjaer's managing director, says: "Developed to simplify service procedures and give customers more control over their equipment, the booking tool is a typical example of Bruel and Kjaer's expert service range, which has continually developed over the 25 years the company has been in the calibration business. It is these practical, customer-focused qualities that set us apart from other service suppliers."
Bruel and Kjaer's service is UKAS accredited to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025, ensuring both traceable and accredited calibration for sound and vibration equipment such as sound level meters, microphones, calibrators and accelerometers.
