HBM is releasing catmanAP 3.1, with this latest version benefiting from a variety of new functions that make it easier to take measurements and analyse data. For example, catmanAP 3.1 includes convenient display filters to help engineers keep track of large numbers of measurement channels. Equally, the new 'cycle counter' mathematics function simplifies counting the periods in a periodic signal without connecting and parameterising an additional hardware channel.
CatmanAP version 3.1 supports the SoMat eDAQ series of mobile data acquisition measurement equipment that is specifically designed for demanding environmental conditions. Using catmanAP 3.1 makes it easy to prepare standalone measurements, as it provides a convenient way to parameterise eDAQ. Measured values are easily recorded and stored in the device without the need for a connected PC, and data can be output and analysed on completion of the measurement.
The new catmanAP 3.1 data acquisition software simplifies the setting up of HBM amplifier systems and it can be used to acquire, display and analys measured values without the need for any programming.
