Compact I/O-modules for AS-Interface
New from ifm electronic come two new AS-I input/output modules for panel mounting. These space-saving modules are both only 25mm wide. These two modules are supplied with relays for switching output devices, or alternatively solid-state outputs. This transistor module is only 52mm deep, taking up even less space in the panel.
Both the relay version and the transistor version are available in models with an external supply connection for input devices drawing up to 1A, or using the 200mA AS-Interface supply. The transistor versions can switch 1A per output, and the relay versions can handle 6A.
Both are configured for four digital input signals and four outputs. A total of 62 of these modules can be used as A or B slaves on a single AS-Interface network as log as the master is to the AS-I specification 3.0 with M4 profile.
