Compact M12 stainless steel safety sensor from elobau
The 122MSV Safety Sensors from elobau have been specifically designed for the challenging environments of food processing machines used within the packaging and meat processing industry. After working closely with customers to understand their requirements - hygienic standard; cleaning with aggressive media at high temperatures; high IP rating - this range of stainless steel safety switches were designed especially for use in this harsh environment.
If you require a completely sealed, stainless steel housing that can withstand a wide temperature range (from -25deg to +80deg), whilst providing an IP protection class of IP6K9K, allowing the switch to be used in high-pressure hose-down applications, then this is the product for you. At the same time, the compact and robust sensor is one of the smallest available on the market, allowing it to be used in very tight, concealed spaces, which also reduces tampering. The sensor has a flat milled surface to ensure a secure installation and maintain the switch and actuator orientation. The corresponding actuator is also available in M12 stainless steel housing. The switching distance of 9.5mm guarantees a reliable switching function.
When the sensor is used in conjunction with an elobau, or other suitably certified safety relay, a PLe/SIL 3/CAT 4 safety level can be achieved.
