Compact PCB-mountable AC-DC power supply outputs 100W
TDK-Lambda EMEA has raised the output power of its compact ZPSA series PCB-mountable AC-DC power supplies with the introduction of a 100W model. The new single-output ZPSA100 accepts a wide input voltage range, has a very low profile (26.6mm) and industry-standard footprint (127 x 76.2mm), making it useful for applications such as test and measurement equipment, point-of-sale equipment, LED signage and lighting, datacom, and video/audio routers.
These 100-Watt supplies are available with the most popular single output voltages from 5V to 48V DC. Offering a typical efficiency of up to 90 per cent, these models are suitable for operation in both convection or customer air-cooled environments from 0 up to +70degC, with appropriate derating. A green LED indicates that the power supply is on; other standard features include over-voltage and short-circuit protection. These supplies are offered in an open-board configuration with Molex input/output connectors.
Accepting a wide input voltage range of 90-264V AC (47-440Hz) or 120-370V DC, the ZPSA100 series is ready for use globally with no further configuration or input selection. Its industry-standard footprint makes it suitable as a drop-in replacement for existing supplies, while its low profile means that it can be installed equipment where space is limited
TDK-Lambda's ZPSA100 series is approved to national and international safety approvals, including IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60950-1 (edition 2), meets conducted and radiated EMC requirements of EN 55022-B and FCC Class B (without additional filtering or components) and meets EN 61000-4 immunity specifications for greater reliability. All models in the ZPSA100 series carry the CE mark according to the Low Voltage Directive, and come with a two-year warranty.
