Connector system for reliable sensor connection
The M8/M12 connector system from Tyco Electronics provides reliable connection to sensors and related products in the key industrial machinery and factory automation markets. As an established connection standard, M8/M12 connectors also find growing application in other industries where a compact connection system with environmental protection is required. The Tyco Electronics range is made up of the most popular variants of this connector family so that versatile systems can quickly and easily be built.
Single end terminated cable assemblies use an over-moulded construction with a choice of PVC or PUR cables in 2 to 10 metre lengths. Within the M12 cable assembly range, additional options include screening and LED indication. Panel mount products have a choice of solder cup or PCB termination. For rewiring on site a range of field serviceable connectors are provided, while Y adaptors facilitate simple splitting of control signals. All products offer a minimum of IP67 protection.
