Rexroth is launching new electrically height-adjustable workstations; the improved ergonomics improve comfort and are said to be the basis for cost-effectiveness and success, as ergonomic movements make processes safer, faster and leaner.
In the adjustable workstations the working height and material supply can be varied independently from each other. The adjustments are made safely and quickly via electric lifting columns activated by an easy-to-operate switch that also has a memory to store three positions. The table height (720-1130mm) is also indicated on the display.
Modular construction enables each worker to adapt the workstation height to the respective dimensions of the workpiece in order to achieve the optimum body posture. Likewise, the material supply can be raised or lowered to an optimal grab area in line with the worker's height. With the standard version, the modules are equipped for a maximum load capacity of 1800N with a uniform load distribution. In the heavy-duty version, four lifting columns per workstation double the load capacity.
The new height-adjustable workstations can be individually configured in various dimensions and with differing equipment via parameter inputs with the MPScalc software. Table frames and housing mounts for material supply with material shelves are complemented by system lamps, socket strips, various tool suspensions and information boards, as well as a compressed air supply. Rexroth has even implemented an integrated ESD concept for these workstations.
