Atlas Copco is to deliver an energy efficiency workshop and will be exhibiting at the Carbon Trust's Technology Convention at the NEC, Birmingham, in January 2010. The Air & Temperature Control Technology Convention takes place on 20 January 2010 at the NEC's Gallery Suite.
Energy efficiency is a prime focus in Atlas Copco's development and application of compressed air systems. At the Compressed Air Workshop session, the company will feature its Carbon Zero compressor technology (see this article: Compressors enable 100% recovery of input energy).
The overall aim of the convention is ensure that the Carbon Trust's pool of accredited consultants and companies attending the event will benefit from the wide range of technologies demonstrated by leading suppliers - and therefore be able to make up-to-date recommendations to help reduce clients' carbon emissions.
Peter Lattaway, product support manager, comments: "Atlas Copco is pleased to be working with the Carbon Trust in order to keep their consultants and affiliated companies up-to-date with the latest technological developments. It is important that these parties understand the energy-saving potential of the Carbon Zero technology in compressed air so that they can help end users exploit heat recovery within their operations."
