Energy-efficient hydraulics supplied as ready-to-install kits
Energy efficiency is increasingly an important issue for specifiers and buyers of machinery, so machine builders must be aware of the energy efficiency of the individual components. Energy-efficient Rexroth Sytronix Variable-Speed Pumps are designed to be easy and safe to integrate, requiring minimal engineering effort. Moreover, energy savings of up to 80 per cent can be achieved.
Design engineers want to use energy-saving hydraulics but without having to pay high costs for selection, design, programming and commissioning. Bosch Rexroth has developed the integrated Sytronix family, in which hydraulic pumps and electric drives are combined, with best-in-class controls as well. This provides many advantages: the design engineer can integrate the ready-to-install, pre-configured systems very easily and quickly without having to deal with the details of programming.
Rexroth's industry experts provide advice to help machine builders choose the best Sytronix kits for a particular application. For example, the 14 kits of the FcP 5000 series are suitable for simple hydraulic tasks, such as clamping or gripping. In these systems, frequency converters are coupled with internal gear pumps. For more sophisticated tasks in plastic machinery or forming technology, for example, designers can choose from 47 preconfigured SvP 7000 series kits. These kits cover a wide range of applications in five performance classes with various servo motors and pump types. More than 80 DFEn 5000 kits are available for axis control tasks in the high-power range. Rexroth says it is the only company to supply this type of intelligent pump, and it is suitable for four-quadrant operation.
Sytronix pumps can enable energy savings of up to 80 per cent to be achieved without compromising productivity. In addition, they reduce the medium noise emission by up to 20 dB(A) and increase the lifetime of the hydraulic medium through lower heat input.
