Eriks is relocating its Otley Service Centre to Bradford, improving customer care by bringing the operation to a new, purpose-built facility that offers easier access to the strong customer base now established in the area. The new premises have been established as the result of the solid reputation built at Otley and will provide the Service Centre with a much more efficient base, enabling Eriks to streamline operations and further enhance customer care. The move is one of many recent expansions that have seen Eriks build on its increasingly strong reputation by offering greater customer access to its expanded range of services.
The Otley building was originally a head office used by Olympic Chevin, which was later acquired by Eriks and, as such, offered little warehouse space. However, by maintaining a consistently reliable service from this limited facility, Eriks has established a loyal customer base in the nearby cities of Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield that has driven the move to a new building with far greater warehouse capacity.
Jonathan Scholey, the Service Centre Manager, says: "This is going to be a great benefit to our many customers in Bradford, who will now have the Service Centre on their doorstep, and to many more in Halifax and Huddersfield, as we will be moving closer to them. The new facility will enable Eriks to offer an even more efficient level of customer care in the areas in question and we have scheduled the move so that we can start the New Year afresh from Bradford."
Eriks' Bradford Service Centre will open its doors on 19 December 2011.
