Free machinery safety and safety controller training workshops
Leuze electronic's next machinery safety training workshops are dedicated to the programming, installation and commissioning of the company's new modular safety controller, the MSI 100. However, before showing attendees how easy it is to use, the workshop will first cover the basics of machine safety. These half-day events take place in St Neots on 7 and 8 June 2011 and are FREE to attend! Times are 09:30 to 13:00 and 13:30 to 17:00.
The first part of the workshop, presented by Kevin Ellison, a technical support engineer at Leuze electronic, provides an introduction to machine safety topics including:
- CE and PUWER requirements
- Legislation
- Standards
- Free tools and resources
Kevin Ellison and Andy Fereday, a regional account manager at Leuze electronic, then run a hands-on workshop on the MSI100 that covers the following:
- Overview of features and benefits
- How to program the MSI 100
- Simulation using the MSI 100 software
- The ease of installation
