Parvalux says it is proud of its ability to offer customers an unrivalled range of motors and gearboxes. However, considering that the standard range of 24 gearboxes and 42 motors offers up some 240 basic combinations that, in turn, offer over 5000 standard motor-gearbox-ratio configurations, then it starts to look a little overwhelming (and that is without considering the various options available on each product).
This explains why Parvalux has created a handy 'at-a-glance' A3-sized poster to help engineers decide which Parvalux product is right. It shows all of the company's standard gearboxes and the related range of speeds and torques (for continuous duty) that they enable when coupled with the various AC and DC motors on offer. Customers can also cross-check shaft and fixing dimensions against each gearbox, as well as compare their radial loads and mechanical rating values.
Engineers will still have to consult individual technical product data, but the poster should be a useful starting point.
