On 9 October 2007 Bosch Rexroth is hosting a free seminar that tackles the subject of effective maintenance of hydraulic machinery. Taking place from 09:00 - 16:30 at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, this year's seminar is the fifth of its kind from Bosch Rexroth. Attendance has grown from 40 delegates in 2002 to over 80 at last year's event.
This year's seminar will give those working with hydraulic machinery a chance to hear the latest information from industry experts about topics such as how to successfully commission and maintain hydraulic pumps, motors and cylinders, through to sources of contamination and cleanliness classes of hydraulics systems.
Presentations on the day will consist of eight half-hour seminars delivered by experts from Bosch Rexroth and its customers and partners. The full line-up of presentations includes:
The final presentation of the day comes from special guest speaker Steve Austen, Principal Naval Architect for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Steve will talk about the challenges involved in the design and support of lifeboats and their equipment.
Held in the Premier Suite at the National Motorcycle Museum, the event will not be all hard work. During an extended lunch break delegates will have the opportunity to visit the motorcycle museum for which Bosch Rexroth has arranged a significantly discounted entry fee. There will also be an exhibition area at the back of the seminar room with exhibits from the day's speakers as well as some hydraulic power units and sample cylinders and valves on display.
