HBM's new strain gauges make for quick and simple installation

The new HBM Strain Gauges are supplied ready-made to the required cable length, removing the need to solder the gauges which is time consuming and requires appropriate equipment and a higher installer skill level. Ease of installation has been further enhanced through the use of more flexible material in the connecting lines on stranded wires and TPE sheath, making it easier for customers to position during installation. This new material has the added benefit of increasing the Strain Gauges temperature range to 150degC.

Further changes to the product line include a lead-free solder to ensure the Strain Gauges are RoHS compliant and non-latching connections, which ensure reliability and also increases durability by providing significant strain relief.

HBM offers a special fast-lane service for small orders which ensures quick delivery, even with variable cable lengths.
