High-quality Kübler draw-wire sensors are more robust
New high-quality draw-wire sensors from Kbler - and available through OEM Automatic - expand on Kbler's proven economical standard draw-wire systems for demanding applications requiring measuring lengths from 250mm up to 40m.
The construction is said to be particularly robust and unaffected by environmental influences thanks to a titanium anodised aluminium housing. The wire is made from 0.5mm diameter stainless steel and is therefore exceptionally hard wearing. The wire exit is also wear-free thanks to a diamond-polished ceramic guide. A wide temperature range of -20 to +85degC, as well as optional IP67 protection, enable the sensor to be used in harsh environmental conditions.
Typical applications where this type of equipment may be used include injection moulding machines, printing machines, lifting platforms, heavy-duty lifting frames and stage equipment.
