igus is announcing that all of its e-chain system sales engineers now hold a current "˜Site Visitor' card for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). The card is for people who frequently visit a construction site, but have no construction-specific skill.
Justin Leonard, director, igus, explains: "To ensure the health, safety and welfare of people entering their sites, most construction companies require site workers, including visitors, to carry a CSCS card. For our customers, we can now go to their site whenever and wherever they need us to specify or inspect e-chain and cable systems quickly and safely.
"igus is a firm supporter of the CSCS Scheme; for our and our customer's peace of mind. In addition, each member of our sales team receives regular coaching to ensure our competence on site and on-going commitment to our customers."
