Industrial castors ensure smooth running over rough surfaces
Elesa is launching the RE.E3 industrial castor that features a vulcanised rubber tyre that ensures a soft ride over most industrial flooring types, from tiles to expanded metal, asphalt or cement-resin. This makes it useful for light loads up to 250kg per wheel, such as manually manoeuvred trolleys, barrows or equipment in storage, service or production or waste handling environments.
The RE.E3 has a tough, zinc-plated steel bracket in either static or rotating configurations. The latter is also available with total lock braking (rotation of bracket and wheel locked simultaneously) by means of a quick-release foot pedal. Wheel sizes of 80mm to 200mm diameter are matched with unit heights of 107mm to 240mm.
In addition, double ball races ease turning and manoeuvring, and a precision plain bearing is used for the steel wheel centre. The industrial castor's compact configuration results in greater stability and reduced protrusion from the basic equipment footprint. The RE.E3 has an operating temperature range of -20 to +80degC, and humid conditions can also be tolerated.
