Industrial plug-in connectors with adjustable cable glands
The new Heavycon EVO industrial plug-in connectors from Phoenix Contact are compliant with protection class IP 65 and feature uniform angled sleeve housings. The matching cable glands for clamp sizes M20 to M40 can be freely combined with any sleeve and base element in sizes B6, B10, B16, and B24.
Being able to combine the cable glands in both vertical and horizontal orientation on the same sleeve housing allows users to reduce the number of different housings required by 70 percent compared with aluminium housings. This reduces wiring costs, together with stock holding, and increases availability. Industrial plug connectors can be installed in temperatures from -40degC to +100degC.
The Heavycon EVO range is compatible with standard contact inserts, including leading PE contacts. All common fixed and modular inserts in B series format are fully supported. The new panel mounting and base housings fit onto the standard wall and panel cut-outs for heavy-duty plug-in connectors
