Infrared heaters are efficient and cost-effective
Hawco Controls is now offering a range of highly efficient, cost-effective infrared heaters that suit a wide range of industrial process control applications. Manufactured by CeramicX of Ireland, the heaters are also available through Hawco as fully engineered, custom models.
Long-, medium- and short-wave infrared heaters use ceramic, quartz and quartz tungsten elements, respectively. Products feature aluminised steel reflector and projector systems and ceramic terminal blocks. Custom-designed heating platens/ovens are available. Key market applications include: vacuum thermoforming; packaging – carton sealing; paint curing in automotive body shops; adhesive curing; food warming – to prevent 'dry out' and printing.
