IP69K connectors for sensors in harsh environments
ITT Interconnect Solutions is introducing new METR1X connectors for sensor applications in harsh environments. For example, the METR1X connectors can be placed directly on a diesel engine, providing EMI shielding and offering resistance to corrosion, vibration, shock, motor oils and salt spray (according to DIN EN 60068).
Available in 2-, 3- or 4-way socket and pin format, the new connectors benefit from a crimped stainless steel housing with a choice of formats, sealing up to IP69K (only with mated pairs of METR1X connectors), an M12 mating face, gold-plated CGK size 20 crimp contacts and secondary locking.
Further technical specifications for the METR1X connectors include an operating temperature range from -40 to +150degC, a flammability rating according to the UL94-V0 standard, a current rating of 4A and a voltage rating of 100V DC.
