High torque and quiet running are essential in many applications, including medical technology, to make handling products a more pleasant experience. Maxon Motors claims to have set new standards with its new and extremely low-noise Koax-Drive KD 32.
The innovative - and patent-pending - torque conversion design means that the Koax-Drive KD 32 runs extremely quietly, even under a high load. This is a breakthrough for all applications in noise-sensitive environments.
With a diameter of 32mm and a coaxial arrangement on the drive and output shaft, the Koax-Drive is also suitable for use in applications where space is at a premium. The gearhead has an efficiency of around 60 per cent with a reduction ratio of 1:32.
In Maxon's modular system, it can be combined with several maxon EC motors that are optimally preinstalled at the factory. In conjunction with Maxon Motors, the Koax-Drive is suitable for quiet handtools, equipment and instruments.
