Latest issue of UKIVA Newsletter available for download
The latest 28-page issue of UKIVA's "Vision in Action' newsletter is now available for download. Each issue of Vision in Action contains a mixture of Members' and Association news, with an increasing emphasis on real-life applications, and this new edition also has a special focus on high-speed imaging.
The high-speed imaging feature looks at high-speed cameras from the viewpoint of exposure time, frame rates and line scan imaging. Another section is devoted to high-speed image acquisition and processing and covers illumination, triggering, data capture and storage. High-speed inspection applications include product defects, labels and marking and web inspection. The use of high-speed imaging in diagnostic analysis and maintenance operations in industrial manufacturing is also covered. The issue also features a number of other application stories.
UKIVA Chairman, Mark Williamson, says: "We have been very pleased with the support that we have received from members in producing the newsletters in 2014, and they really showcase our members' considerable expertise in vision. The newsletters have been available at a number of recent exhibitions, including the PPMA Show, Photonex and the VISION Show, and we were delighted to note that visitors took over 600 copies from the Association's booth at VISION alone."
