LED tower lights and sounders are easily configured
Schneider Electric is launching the Harmony XVU LED tower light range. This new line offers customers a clean, innovative design that is said to enhance installation safety. The colour-coded display and sound signalling increase visibility of machine alarms in industrial environments.
Harmony XVU LED tower lights offer high-quality, true-colour, bright LED light modules that enable users to create a configuration best suited to their requirements. They include one to five illuminated units that are available in red, amber, green, blue, and white, or one to four illuminated units plus a buzzer or voice sound unit.
Additionally, the range includes a special multi-colour LED module with a choice of six colours and four light patterns (steady, blinking, flashing, or rotating) which are easily configurable by two dip switches housed within the unit.
The new Harmony XVU LED tower lights also enable quick and flexible installation directly onto the machine, and a 100mm pole or a height-adjustable pole option means that the lights can be made as visible as possible for the operators. Installation is also available using a three-in-one, adjustable mounting bracket, so the tower light can be mounted upright, at an angle or on a wall or other vertical surface.
Darryl Wells-Pope, the product marketing manager at Schneider Electric, comments: "Our new Harmony XVU beacon is the brightest modular beacon on the market today when viewed at 45 degrees and provides the user with a 360-degree pilot light that is perfect for signalling.
"The unit offers true blue and white colours so there is no confusion in distinguishing between the two. The product is also easy to configure, as the multi-coloured lens can be easily switched with a screwdriver, making it useful for a changing production line to keep up with evolving customer demands."
